Common Problems And Misunderstandings Of Fluorescent Fabrics
- Nov 28, 2018 -
Fluorescent fabric is a fabric that has a strong reflective effect after fluorescent dyeing or coating finishing of ordinary fabrics.
The use of fluorescent fabrics provides strong warning and safety prevention for objects that are far away or that are strongly reflected in the dark.
Most of the fluorescent fabrics are made of chemical fiber, and the dyed fibers are dyed with a dispersed fluorescent dye. The color fastness is good and the color is bright.
If cotton, linen, silk, and wool fabrics are to be fluorescent, they are basically coated with fluorescent paint to bond the paint to the fibers to achieve the purpose of dyeing. The color of the fabric varies depending on factors such as surface mechanism, paint concentration, dye uptake rate, and pH value, and may not even emit fluorescence. Causes the fluorescent color to have no fluorescent effect.
Common problems and misunderstandings of fluorescent fabrics
Color disadvantages:
 1. The light color fastness of fluorescent fabrics is very poor.
 2. The color fastness of the fluorescent paint is poor, and the water wash is very bad.
 3. The problems of fluorescent color of fabrics of cotton, hemp, wool and silk are problems such as difficult color, dark color and low fluorescence reflectivity.
Production problems:
1. The smallest package of dyes in the industry is generally 25 kg. Many factories do not have fluorescent dyes. In the case of multi-color ratio, the quantity is small and cannot be produced.
2. Many fabric factories with natural materials lack experience in making fluorescent fabrics, which leads to many problems in color fastness and shade problems.
3. Some factories add fluorescent whitening agents to the ordinary dyes to pretend to be fluorescent dyes.
